Thank you for the refreshing shift of focus this morning. Talk of the Bruh Brain Circuit zipped mine back to analogies from the tumultuous late 60s, trying to get comfortable with social upheaval and war atrocities front page and all around. Thaddeus Golas wrote an invaluable little guide book to help us through ‘bad trips’. He suggested a reset question for clarity and balance amid confusion and chaos: “What Did You Think It Was That Needed To Be Loved?” (from his ‘Lazy Man’s Guide to Enlightenment’). I always enjoy your insights into actual brain structure and function…
Huh. Taking from this, does that mean that men who prefer hanging out with men, working out with men, watching male sports, going to the man cave with men, working on the car in the garage with men, are all in the fight-and-flight, danger-is-present, I'm-stressed-and-anxious mode?
I almost always prefer female company. And I'm a relaxed guy these days.
more likely it means brain circuitry of dudes who exclusively hang with dudes defaults differently... and likely a different brain circuit than rodents
and the other question is does anatomy determine behavior or does behavior determine anatomy (brain circuitry in this case)
Marc, Thanks. Leading me to more research on A-Fib and Fight or flight, 😎
